I tried to create a MediaMax account. Looked attractive 100GB for free.
It claims that my email address is already in use.
Hmmm. Who could that be, how did they verify the address?
I think their database is screwed up.
Not a good sign.

For backup, next I tried Box.net.
Gig of storage, no client download. That’s nice.
But it requires you to manage disks and folders. This is ok for some. I liked how Mozy figured out your file types and sizes.
I probably won’t back anything up to box.
