Heheh. Dave, dam–as in your usage– is spelled damn. Just to let you know. A hot “dam” would be a water control structure located in Arizona near the border of Nevada.

By the way Wikipedia has it right. Dam vs. Damn

Britannica probably has not reference to “damn” What would people say?
