Judith and I were remembering things that our children have said. Defining moments if you will. Here we go.
Tricia:
She is four, I just finished cutting her finger nails. She looks at them, holds them up and says–what about my cuticals?
Taryn:
Everyone knows Taryn’s favorite animial is a turtle. But for some reason she is going on about how cute pigs are. She says “pigs are so cute, If I could have any animal, it would be a…turtle!”
Alex:
He climbs up on my bed a 6:15 Saturday morning and clicks his feet against the edge of the bed and says: “What we are going to do today Dad?”
On to the grandchildren.
Lauren:
At our wedding she frowns and exclaims–I’m not going down the aisle! Her red hair accentuated the moment.
Morgan:
Sitting in front of the television–I’m waiting…bring me chips and a movie!
Dawson:
Puts his hands above his large head of hair and says..out of the blue..”I’m champion of the world!”
Davis:
Spends hours in the bathroom primping, looking in the mirror and patting his face with baby powder. Judith was in heaven.
