I have been a Mozy user for the last 18 months. For the last year, I have been a paid Mozy user.
For the last year—I know I can hardly believe it—I have never been able to get a complete backup of my computer with Mozy. Judith’s computer backs up just fine.
I spent hours and hours [...]

Bestcomm Networks Inc.—Worst Service of the Year

July 2nd, 2008 · 3 Comments

I am staying in hotel in Scottsdale. The Hilton Homesuites. Overall, the service is good. The food is tolerable (free breakfast every morning and dinner four nights a week). The rooms are nice and the maid service is great.
The Internet service is horrendously bad. This isn’t the entirely the hotel’s fault. The hotel’s Internet management [...]

Essay 0 : Intentional Innovation vs. The Accidental Bullet

July 1st, 2008 · No Comments

Introduction
The term “Intentional Innovation” comes from addressing the myths of innovation that I constantly run into. The basic myth about innovation is that innovation usually happens by chance. I call it the Jed Clampett Innovation Myth. Most people believe that the only way to strike it big is by accident. I am not saying the [...]
